Hrm, there’s a one day conference that I’d like to go to, that would be good for my own professional development, and conveniently enough, is 7 miles from the Stoughton IKEA. I don’t know why I have this obsession with IKEA, but I do know that a one-night conference would be awesome — I could sleep! all night! in a hotel! And take out the carseat and fold down the seats and flatpack my way to eternal happiness.
Or at least get a meatball.
I’d do it. Anything to get near IKEA. Here in Vegas I have to drive 4 hours to SoCal to get to one. Of course, I moved out of MA and they built one there. Maybe I should move out of Vegas so they can build one here.

I don’t think you’re the only one out there. I have been scheming all summer to come up with a reason to drive the 5 hours from St. Louis to Chicago. My husband keeps saying “what’s the big deal about IKEA, anyway?”
He just doesn’t get it.
Umm, I’m in IKEA hell right now, but my love is so deep that I think we can make it right. Oh god, I hope they come through for me because I wouldn’t know who I was if it weren’t for my IKEA obsession.
