Bermuda seems like a reasonable choice. Off season, so “affordable” (read: cheap), and still warmer than here in February. (But that’s not hard to achieve.) And, it’s not so far away, 2 hours, I think, from Boston.
Anyone been? Any recommendations?

though one of the most beautiful places i have ever been, bermuda is tough. simply because if any “weather” comes, it hits bermuda. but february should be fine. something to remember is that its close (read: convenient) and you can stay at a not so expensive place and still enjoy all of the places enjoyed by the fabulously rich. it can get a bit “confrency” (and by that i mean that a lot of conferences are held on the island and therefore you will be surrounded by salesy type guys). if you do decide to go to bermuda, you MUST go to this beach i went to years ago (remind me and i will find out the name). it has all sorts of caves and caverns and small pools of crystal clear water and pink sand. gorgeous!
