Yaaaawwwnn.

First of all, I wandered over to my city’s school department website to find that I really should just stop worrying.  The city department has openings for ed techs (11.50/hr), subs (68/day) and tutors (13/hr.)  All of which I am totally qualified for.  In comparison, my school pays ed techs <9/hr, 50/day, and no clue on tutors.  And have I mentioned that there are two schools within a less-than-five-minute WALK from my house? I will so be all set.

And, I’ve been shooting games this week, and I’m working on a post about that, because there’s a lot about it that is sweet and sad. It’s hard to describe unless you grew up there, but I’m going to try to.  Of course, the two teams that are most annoying to shoot — my alma mater and our biggest rival — both won their games, and thus will be playing AGAINST each other on Friday, so it’s Hell Squared. Well, okay, not HELL, but certainly the most unpleasant tourney scenario that could be envisioned.  It’s still going okay, though, I still like being the only woman sports photog down there, even though I hate sports I think it’s good to be representin’ for the chicks.

And, on chicks, Babyish update behind the cut:

  • Tossed and turned again last night.  This is remarkable because I am a champion sleeper.  I usually am asleep before, and through, takeoff when flying.  I’ve had to be woken by flight attendants at the gate before. Seriously.  Any type of insomnia is odd.
  • Had to pee in the night. Again, never happens, unless I guzzle something RIGHT before bed, which I didn’t do.
  • Then was thirsty, so drank a small bit of water.
  • Then, went back to bed where the water didn’t sit quite right, and it felt like when you drink water after puking to rehydrate, you just have to think a bit to keep it in.
  • Boobiness:  Described to Amy as "it feels like a mild sunburn on the inside of my tits."  They don’t HURT, per se, but it’s a very new and weird sensation.
  • More Dreams:  The same night I had my dream, Muse had this: I  had a dream that you had a baby
and came to me for advice because I worked in daycare, but it turned out you really didn’t need the advice at all, you totally knew what you were doing, but where all freaked out and trying to make sure you had everything perfect and I had to keep telling you what a great mom you were and you
wouldn’t believe me.  I will see if I can remember anything else and let you know.  BTW, It was a really gorgeous babe in my dream.
This is in addition to CTG’s dream of me being 13 months pregnant, as well.
  • Crampiness in a sorta like period but not way.
  • TIRED. Whoa.  I tossed and turned, and got up at 8:10 to go shoot.  I was there from 9-12, came home for lunch and tried to nap, to stop yawning, but couldn’t, so I had some tea before going back at 2 until 5.  i yawned the WHOLE. TIME.  Came home and took a nap.
  • Emotional. During the alma mater game, a girl took a wicked digger in the paint right in front of me. She started to cry, and they stopped the game, and I had to back up and look away because I started to cry. This? Is fucking weird. Basketball players exist to be laughed at, especially if they’re in a Dragons uniform.  Very odd.

So, I’m on day 35, and I think I might test tomorrow.  My average cycle length has been all whacked from that last 46 dayer, but I had the +OPK on Day 23, so CD36 testing is early, but maybe not.  I figure I’ll test in the am, and if it’s negative, I’ll test on Friday, too.

I just don’t know what I’ll do if it’s negative. Or if it’s positive.

I can’t help thinking though, because I am a girl who loves signs, that it’s my time, I have this image of KB’s pregnancy ending as mine begins.  She and J are definitely in my thoughts tonight as she transitions to motherhood, and if anything, I hope that energy helps out others in the universe.

As I said to PJ, "Thank GOD I’m not religious, or I’d be a total fruitcake." She agreed. 🙂
